The Health Link Initiative
Connecting communities with the health they deserve.
Who are we?
We are dedicated to connecting uninsured, undocumented, and underserved communities of Georgia with accessible healthcare services.
Our philosophy puts patients first as they navigate through the healthcare system. We believe that transparency is key to placing a greater focus on preventative measures.
The Problem
Healthcare is a human right.
Yet 89% of Georgia counties are considered medically underserved.
This issue was only exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The rising costs of daily life and healthcare make it impossible for many to receive the care they need. Across zip codes, the average life expectancy can vary by almost 20 years.

There are several free clinics that exist in Georgia but knowledge and access is difficult.
Our Solutions as a Service:
-Mobile device app showing the nearest clinic to you
-Outreach and education services
-One-on-one assistance
What is the importance of preventative care?
Primary Prevention: Eliminating risk factors before the disease even occurs. An example could be leading a healthy lifestyle and measures such as annual well-checkups and vaccines.
Secondary Prevention: Reducing the impact of a disease or injury in its earliest stages. This can include regular screenings and exams.
Tertiary Prevention: Tertiary prevention aims to soften the impact of a disease. This includes medical treatments.
1. Preventative care can detect conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer early, leading to more effective treatments. Overall, it improves quality of life.
2. Take Control of Your Health
Your primary physician is more likely to take note of bloodwork and encourage healthy habits to accommodate individual circumstances.
3. Reduces Healthcare costs
Preventing diseases is MUCH less expensive than treating them. Routine care prevents emergency treatment and hospitalization.
Here at The HealthLink Initiative, our goal is to expand access and awareness for primary and secondary prevention.
